movement...

This page is just a catch-all for the things I enjoy doing of the physical nature (Hey! Get your mind out of the gutter!), and what better way to show them off than a nice list?

In honor of my birthday, I was named Erion Entertainment's Actor of the Week for March 14-19, 2005. I was so flattered I decided to reprint the thing here:

Congratulations to Kate Weber -- this week's Actor of the Week!
Kate joined the company during its very first movie -- Destiny -- as Molly, one of the OOPS bandits. She participated in the creation of such endearing and everlasting running jokes as "Nirobe, a whole country" and the ever popular "Traldon: No Pants!" which can still be heard at various times on the set and in my house. (it's like a battle cry). Kate did a marvelous job in all of the Destiny Trilogy and the mini-series, was one of the three redeeming features of Frumpy Gets It, and ran around the house chasing people with a christmas tree and turning ice cubes into diamonds during The Perfect Combination (not pictured, unforunately, someday I'll grab that screen cap...). All of which showed her wonderful comic timing and great bent at twisted, random, and rediculous humor. But it wasn't until Pandora's Box that she really got to show case her talent at dramatic acting, turing in a stunning performance as Ryaka, the Insane Ex-General -- a performance that garnered her several Frank Awards including Best Performance by a Guest Appearence Actor. She did such an amazing job as Ryaka that she truly shocked me with the outstanding quality of her dramatic performance. Way to go Kate! It has been truly an honor to work with such a talented individual and I sincerely hope I can arrange to be filming in the same state she is in at some point so I can work with her again.

Hats off to you, Kate! You're this week's Actor of the Week in honor of your birthday on March 19th. Happy Birthday! And congratulations again on the engagement. You're just a powerhouse of excitement, aren't you?
