stampthe postcard wall...

Most people collect things; I collect postcards. Though I prefer to have them sent to me, I also purchase one most places I visit. I also appreciate the vintage and the absurd. I am a member of PostCrossing (you can see my profile here).

I've filled another wall and am starting to have space concerns. I may be taking them all down sooner than planned. The pictures here just show what's changed - the other walls are the same.

I've started a third wall. Now that I've amassed a fair number of cards I plan on pruning - get rid of some of the less attractive freebies, for instance. However, that's a lot of work so I imagine it won't get done until I move in a couple years, when I will be forced to take the whole darned thing down anyway. For now, enjoy some crappy pictures taken with my camera phone.

After I put up the postcards at the new apartment, most of them started falling down. This made me sad. So I took pictures to celebrate when I finally got them all up for good (the key: Scotch brand masking tape, accept no imitations).

We got a new digital camera, so Bill took some pictures to try it out. Mostly close-ups. Also, this is at our new apartment.

I was actually just trying out my webcam, and there wasn't much of interest to take pictures of at the time.
