obsessive blither...
Writing is by far my most consuming hobby. I've kept a paper diary since 1991, an online journal since 2001, and I am never without some beat-up old notebook to scribble in. I write mostly short stories and essays, but I also have a couple novels bumping around upstairs begging to get out. Here's a small sample of my writing life.
Original Fiction
- Country Feedback Literary Magazine published both the stories I submitted to them. They appear in issues 1 and 3. Since copies are no longer available, I have no qualms about reprinting them here.
- I finally opened up an account at FictionPress for the occasional story. No idea how often I'll update it, but feel free to peruse.
Unoriginal Fiction
- I don't consider myself a fanfic author, but I noticed a few stories hanging out on my harddrive which are unpublishable without permission from unlikely sources. So I figured, what the heck, I'll post one or two here as I find them.
- The Adventures of Mullet Man! - A terribly silly story, bound to be a disappointment to fans of Star Wars fic everywhere.
- If I write anything else, I'll most likely upload it to my FF.net account.
Online Endeavors
- It Never Stops - Commentary on websites, books, movies and more. Usually updated every few days.
- Writing Prompts - I finally posted my collection of writing prompt sites for all to see, plus a thorough listing of writing challenge communities on LiveJournal. Enjoy.
- NaNoWriMo, wherein you write 50,000 words of a novel in 30 days. Writing with wild abandon is fun.
